Arrive at the loading site – according to the address in the order. Preparation and process of loading

1. Cargo identification

VIN check – according to the loading list

Equipment – to be checked in accordance with specifications

2. Control of the vehicle for transport

3. Handling of damage

• Request a damage report or make an entry in the CMR (box.18)
• Communicate with the Brand Quality Controller

ATTENTION !!! WHEN LOADING USED CARS, LARGER, SERIOUS DAMAGES MUST BE DESCRIBED IN CMR AND PHOTO DOCUMENTATION MUST BE TAKEN !!!

4. Preparation of the autotransporter for loading

Remove all moving objects from decks ( chocks, belts, stiles)

Clear and reduce spaces in bays (when bays are not used)

Set the correct angle of overrun:

Check the clearance between the overruns and the bumper before entering the autotransporter

Clearance too small

5. securing vehicles on the auto transporter

Cargo optimisation – maximising the use of the cargo space while respecting the height, length of the cargo and the distance between the cars and the elements of the car transporter and the cargo

6. One last check before leaving on the road

• checking that the length and height of the car transporter is adapted to national requirements
• check for loose items on decks
• checking that cars are locked as required and a set of keys is in the organiser

The driver of the autotransporter is obliged to follow the “Instructions for loading, driving and unloading IR-03_03”. when carrying out loading, driving and unloading operations
